Our lunch keynote speaker is Paul Douglas

Paul Douglas is a Penn State meteorologist and AMS Fellow with 45 years of television and radio experience. A serial entrepreneur, Douglas has launched 7 businesses, including EarthWatch Communications, Digital Cyclone and Praedictix, which provides content, consulting & severe weather briefings for media and corporate interests from the Twin Cities. EarthWatch created 3-D weather special effects for Steven Spielberg’s “Jurassic Park” and “Twister” and Digital Cyclone was first to put Doppler radar on cellular phones in 2001. With a daily print and online weather column at Star Tribune, Paul provides daily weather updates on WCCO Radio in the Twin Cities. A contributor to the Climate Science Rapid Response Team, Douglas has authored 4 books, including a focus on climate, faith and science in 2017 with “Caring for Creation, the Evangelical’s Guide to Climate Change and a Healthy Environment”. Paul’s latest illustrated book is “A Kid’s Guide to Saving the Planet”. A frequent contributor to MSNBC on the link between climate and weather, Douglas was featured in PBS NOVA’s “Decoding the Weather Machine”. With a home in the western suburbs of the Twin Cities and a cabin on Pelican Lake, Minnesota, Paul has been married for 40 years, with two sons and two grandsons.

MNAFP has a history of between 30 and 40 exhibitors. Many of these exhibitors are new to our conference. Attendees have the opportunity to partner with experienced industry trailblazers and service providers to gather data about an impressive number of products and services aimed to help you manage treasury, cash management, investment and other finance functions. Lunch: There will be two options for the lunch Entree: Lemon Parsley Chicken or Butternut Squash Ravioli (vegan/vegetarian). There will be a BLT Salad and Mini Tartlets for dessert.
