MNAFP Benefits of Membership

The Minnesota Association for Financial Professionals is a nationally recognized, non-profit organization with more than 1,000 individual members. As one of the Midwest’s leading and most active professional associations, MNAFP distinguishes itself by seeking to advance the treasury, investment, financial management and financial service professions, by facilitating communication among professionals, promoting awareness of the latest trends and technological advancements in the field, and providing innovative services for the education and professional development of its members.

MNAFP members come from diverse businesses and organizations—from leading financial institutions and nationally recognized companies to universities and colleges, nonprofits, and well-known regional firms. Business memberships consist of both corporate practitioners and financial service providers. MNAFP has approximately 160 member companies, reflecting the numerous Fortune 500 companies headquartered in the Minneapolis/St. Paul and surrounding areas. In addition, other non-profit organizations such as the Upper Midwest ACH Association (UMACHA) and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis are also members and regular participants in MNAFP-sponsored events.

MNAFP Membership Pricing:

There are two types of company membership.

• $175 for companies with less than 10 members
• $350 for companies with 10 or more members.

Membership is by company and participation by multiple representatives of member firms is encouraged. Each company has one person designated with voting rights and this person is considered the primary member. 

For individuals in transition or where their company does not provide member, there is an Induvial Membership. With this membership one person has preferred pricing for monthly meetings and the annual conference.  This membership is $100.

When you join MNAFP, you receive an array of benefits:

• Earn continuing education credits for the AFP certified treasury professional (CTP) and certified cash manager (CCM) programs.

• Search current job postings specifically geared toward the treasury, investment, financial management and financial service professions.  Post your resume, and learn more about companies looking for top treasury and finance professionals. There is a fee.
• Membership in our regional MNAFP gives you 1 additional CTP/CCM credit per year.
• If you are elected to serve on the board of MNAFP you receive 4 CTP/CCM credits per one year term.
• LinkedIn - LinkedIn groups are an innovative way to know your fellow members, share information and ask questions. With your membership in MNAFP you can access MNAFP's LinkedIn Group.
