Treasury Tools to Manage Global risk in a volatile financial market

Join us for this session that will discuss the treasury tools to align with European and US Repo access to the low and negative interest rates for Repo or securities financing or investing. We will discuss the Eurex exchange circle of integrated offerings for collateral transformation to access efficient Repo rates with transparent participants and centralized clearing. Eurex Repo offers a number of models by which to trade centrally on a regulated platform to manage counterparty risk and credit exposure.

Compass is a U.S. Commodity Trading Advisor that manages investment risk, along with equity index and asset replications.  We plan to discuss an overview of some of the treasury tools, finance and tax rules to consider utilizing with Eurex’s platform of tools.

Eurex is an exchange similar to CME in Chicago.  It is based in Frankfurt Germany, Eurex is part of the Deutsche Boerse Group and operates in concern with other DBG entities together to offer traders, banks and other global and local financial entities opportunities to trade and/or clear repurchase agreements, derivatives and securities.

This session will meet the following learning objectives:

What are some of the Eurex treasury tools along with finance and tax rules to consider?

  1. We plan to discuss potential treasury activities to align with Eurex platform tools.
  2. Establishing natural hedges with Eurex Repo financing and managing related currency volatility.
  3. Repatriation of funds along with options or methods to consider to manage frictional cost of fund movement
  4. Next steps to consider: review tax, treasury and finance alignment, tools and resources.
  5. How do you want to access Eurex financing, investment, or risk management tools?

Participants can earn 1.0 CTP/CCM/FP&A credit or 1.0 CPE credit.
