In an Ideal world - what b2b payment efficiency looks like and a roadmap to achieve it

Today’s B2B payments systems was designed for a different era, where B2B payments lack automated processing capabilities, interoperability, and connectivity.  Modernizing B2B payments require payment systems to become faster, efficient, connected, secure and agile.  To get there, and to fully leverage new faster payment systems, it requires addressing several areas, including invoicing and remittance.  In this session, you will hear what is needed to modernize the ecosystem to achieve the full potential of all electronic and faster payments, and maximize B2B payment efficiency.

Our speaker is Todd M. Albers, Sr. Payments Consultant, Payments, Standards and Outreach Group with the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.

Additional Information:

This session will meet the following learning objectives:
• Attendees will learn about automating B2B payments.
• Attendees will learn about connecting invoicing and remittance in an automated way.

Participants can earn 1.0 CTP/CCM/FP&A credit or 1.0 CPE credit.
