Perspective on Major Issues

This discussion will cover some of the major issues impacting economies and markets around the world. The focus will be on understanding complex issues and implications for the future. Topics will include trade discussions, Brexit and the future of the EU, and the global rise of populist political parties. Here from an expert on these disruptors.


Our speaker is Kurt Lieberman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Research Officer with Mangi Global Asset Management LLC

Participants can earn 1.0 CTP/CCM/FP&A credit or 1.0 CPE credit.

Mr. Lieberman has led Magni since 2012. Previously, he has also held senior positions at public companies, including Thomson Reuters, Ecolab, Reynolds & Reynolds, and IBM. Mr. Lieberman also helped start and build a business that was sold to McKinsey & Company. Mr. Lieberman has a BS in Engineering from Harvey Mudd College and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He has worked to improve communities through social service, education, and welfare organizations. He and his wife, Lisa, are very proud of their two adult children


Mangi is a leader in governance research on both countries and companies, focusing on the behavior of the entity. Our deeper and more insightful level of research is required to identify those entities that are most likely to endure over time. In other words, those that are truly sustainable. With extensive database covering 17 years, Magni scores and ranks entities on governance, and the scores are used to build investible portfolios.

Advanced Preparation - A handout will be sent to all registered participants to read before the session.

All cancellations must be received in writing prior to noon two days before any monthly seminar/meeting.  We encourage substitutions at any time, let us know in writing via email or the person can just check with us at the event.  All no shows will be invoiced if not already paid.  Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to the seminar receive a 100% refund.  Cancellations not received 48 hours prior to the meeting date will not be honored.  Requests for refunds must be received via email.  For more information regarding refund, complaint and/or program cancellation policies, please contact our office at 612-910-9286.
