Second-longest us economy expansion in history...can it set a record?

The U.S. economy is currently experiencing the second largest expansion on record. The current expansion began in June 2009. Of course, boom times don’t last forever. As we approach the end of the cycle, come hear about how we expect economic conditions to impact treasury management in 2019. Join us in this session to hear from Mr. Omodunbi, a seasoned economist.



Our speaker is Mr. Abbey Omodunbi, Assistant Vice President and Economist ~ PNC Financial Services Group

Participants can earn 1.0 CTP/CCM/FP&A credit or 1.0 CPE credit.

Abbey Omodunbi is an assistant vice president and economist for The PNC Financial Services Group. He is responsible for contributing to PNC’s regional, national and international economic analysis. Omodunbi joined PNC in October 2018 after spending 3 years with Goldman Sachs New York in Risk Management. He is past research director of the non-profit FREE (Finance Requires Effective Education) – a financial literacy initiative. Omodunbi earned a Ph.D. in economics from State University of New York (Binghamton), with concentrations in labor economics and econometrics. He also has a B.Sc. in mathematics (with honors) from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

Advanced Preparation - A handout will be sent to all registered participants to read before the session.

All cancellations must be received in writing prior to noon two days before any monthly seminar/meeting.  We encourage substitutions at any time, let us know in writing via email or the person can just check with us at the event.  All no shows will be invoiced if not already paid.  Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to the seminar receive a 100% refund.  Cancellations not received 48 hours prior to the meeting date will not be honored.  Requests for refunds must be received via email.  For more information regarding refund, complaint and/or program cancellation policies, please contact our office at 612-910-9286.

Registration Pricing:

  • Member Pricing $35.00 per person through Tuesday, February 12, 2019, after Monday pricing is $45 per member.
  • Non-Member Pricing $49.00 per person through Tuesday, February 12, 2019, after Monday pricing is $59.00 per non-member.
