Robotics is Real and We're Living It!


Robotics is all the buzz. Come and listen how one company has implemented robots in their Finance team. The speakers will cover why they chose to implement robotics, what functions they focused on, how they created governance, RACI, intake forms, piloting and change management. They will also discuss lessons learned, who sits on the various committees and next steps to enhance the process they already have in place.


This session will meet the following learning objectives:

  • Attendees will gain an understanding of how one company implemented robotics.
  • Attendees will discuss lessons learned and how to accommodate changes.

Speaker Bio:  Sarah Schaus, Assistant Treasurer and AVP, Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America
Sarah Schaus is AVP and Assistant Treasurer for Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America. Her responsibilities include cash management, cash operations, accounts payable, unclaimed property, and suspense/cash reconciliations. She is also a past president of the MNAFP. She holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance.

Speaker Bio:  Heidi Winger, Finance Transformation Specialist, Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America
Heidi Winger is a Finance Transformation Specialist at Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America. Her responsibilities include process reengineering opportunity identification and execution, program and project management, change management, workshop facilitation, and development of process control and monitoring programs. She is Green Belt certified and Black Belt Trained.

Participants can earn 1.0 CTP/CCM/FP&A credit or 1.0 CPE credit.

Advanced Preparation - A handout will be sent to all registered participants to read before the session.

All cancellations must be received in writing prior to noon two days before any monthly seminar/meeting.  We encourage substitutions at any time, let us know in writing via email or the person can just check with us at the event.  All no shows will be invoiced if not already paid.  Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to the seminar receive a 100% refund.  Cancellations not received 48 hours prior to the meeting date will not be honored.  Requests for refunds must be received via email.  For more information regarding refund, complaint and/or program cancellation policies, please contact our office at 612-910-9286.

  • Member Pricing $35.00 per person through Tuesday, October 9, 2018, after Tuesday pricing is $45 per member.
  • Non-Member Pricing $49.00 per person through Tuesday, October 9, 2018, after Tuesday pricing is $59.00 per non-member.
