Cyber criminals have learned to profit big from their activities. While breaches at large companies dominate the news, this threat is significant for every sized business. Any business that stores personal financial information on their network or conducts online cash management is a potential target. Payment fraud targeting wire transfers, ACH payments, and credit cards is increasing at an alarming rate.

This session will describe the threat landscape and provide insight on how treasury/finance professionals can effectively address this emerging threat.

This intermediate level program will meet the following learning objectives:

  • Attendees will learn about current payment fraud trends and the tactics employed by cyber criminals
  • Attendees will also learn about steps they can take and solutions that can help protect their company.

Speaker Bio:  Crystal D. Hatcher, SVP, CIO and Chief Risk Management Officer/Venture Bank
Crystal has been with Venture Bank since its inception in 2001 and has over 28 years of banking experience. At Venture Bank, Crystal is responsible for the Enterprise Risk Management, Cyber Security, Internal Audit, Compliance, and IT functions. She also leads the Bank’s Strategic Planning work.

Participants can earn 1.0 CTP/CCM/FP&A credit or 1.0 CPE credit.

Advanced Preparation - A handout will be sent to all registered participants to read before the session.

All cancellations must be received in writing prior to noon two days before any monthly seminar/meeting.  We encourage substitutions at any time, let us know in writing via email or the person can just check with us at the event.  All no shows will be invoiced if not already paid.  Cancellations received more than 48 hours prior to the seminar receive a 100% refund.  Cancellations not received 48 hours prior to the meeting date will not be honored.  Requests for refunds must be received via email.  For more information regarding refund, complaint and/or program cancellation policies, please contact our office at 763-577-0018.

LUNCH:  Chardonnay chicken - Sauteed chicken breast served over pasta with a parmesan Chardonnay sauce and fresh vegetable, includes Jax house salad, bread and butter service, coffee or tea. Dessert: Turtle cheesecake.

  • Non-Member Pricing $49.00 per person through Tuesday, February 6, 2018, after Tuesday pricing is $59.00 per non-member.
