President's Message

March 16, 2015

We are thrilled to have over 100+ participants registered for this month’s session scheduled this Thursday, March 19th on “Financial Crimes and Scams” presented by the FBI. It’s not too late to register for this session, please click here.

As finance professionals, we need to be understand, identify and be prepared with risk mitigation plans for potential fraudulent activities within the industry and our organizations. Fraudulent activities and cyber security is on the rise and has been consistent news topics with headlines of millions of impacted customers and loss of sensitive data that are all tied to very expensive price tags for organizations.

To provide further perspectives on these topics, we have Special Agent Mr. Waller and SSA Mr. Golomb from the FBI that will be presenting a session titled “Financial Crimes and Scams.” This session will provide an update on financial crimes, scams and cyber security. In addition, this session will provide insights into how the FBI works to proactively protect America’s most valuable and sensitive information and technology and touch on cyber international fraud matters.
