President's Message

We are excited to announce the 2014 annual MNAFP holiday luncheon presented with a session on Money Market Reform with Debra Cunningham, CFA/Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer Global Money Markets of Federated Investors scheduled on Tuesday, December 9, 2014!   Ms. Cunningham will provide an update on the regulations impacting money market and the rate environment.

MNAFP believes in contributing back to the community and will be hosting the annual charitable drive to support Hope4Youth during the session. Hope4Youth’s goal is to end youth homelessness in Anoka County. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, please click here for additional details regarding items need by the organization.

We will end the session with fun prizes provided by our contributing MNAFP members companies. Please let Kathy Grabowski know if you plan on participating with any prizes.

We’re looking forward to 2015 with some intriguing sessions including the following:

January 15, 2015 – The Evolving Landscape of Treasury with Treasury Practitioners (Panel) AND optional career development session with Robert Half

February 12, 2015 – The Intersection of FP&A and Treasury (Finance Planning & Analysis Panel


A couple of other quick announcements:

White Papers – We have started to receive some proposals on white papers with the intent to provide our members with relevant case studies. We encourage our members to contribute and share with other Finance colleagues their experiences and findings.

MNAFP Annual Conference is on April 28, 2015.

FP&A (Finance Planning & Analysis) – We encourage all of our members to bring their colleagues at their company to the monthly meetings who will receive the member discount.

CPE, FP&A, and CTP/CCM – A friendly reminder that many of our sessions qualify as certification credits towards these credentials.
